Description
What is CP-10?
CP-10 is a research-grade combination blend of CJC-1295 (No DAC) and Ipamorelin in a single vial. CJC-1295 (No DAC), also known as Modified GRF(1-29), is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) with 29 amino acids. Ipamorelin is a selective pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue and ghrelin receptor agonist. Together, they target complementary pathways — GHRH receptor and GHS receptor — and have been studied for synergistic effects on growth hormone release in preclinical models.
Research Applications
Synergistic GH Secretion: Preclinical research demonstrates that co-administration of a GHRH analog (CJC-1295) with a ghrelin mimetic (Ipamorelin) produces greater GH release than either compound alone, through dual receptor activation.
Pulsatile GH Release Studies: Ipamorelin preserves the natural pulsatile pattern of GH release, making this combination valuable for studying physiological vs. supraphysiological GH secretion profiles.
Selectivity Research: Ipamorelin is one of the most selective GH secretagogues studied — it does not significantly affect cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH levels, making this blend useful in controlled endocrine research.
Receptor Pharmacology: The combination allows researchers to study GHRH-R and GHS-R1a cross-talk and downstream signaling convergence on somatotroph cells.
