Epithalon
Synthetic tetrapeptide researched for telomerase activation and cellular aging pathways. 50mg per vial.
SKU: EPI-50MG
Description
What is Epithalon?
Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology as the synthetic analog of the pineal preparation epithalamin. It is the flagship compound of the peptide bioregulator field and the most cited peptide in telomerase research.
Research Applications
- Telomerase Activity: Published work reports that Epithalon induces telomerase activity and telomere elongation in human somatic cells — the finding the peptide is best known for.
- Aging Research: Long-running animal studies from the Khavinson group examined lifespan, tumour incidence and markers of biological age.
- Pineal & Circadian Function: Research has examined its influence on melatonin production and circadian rhythm regulation in aged models.
- Cellular Senescence: Studied for effects on the proliferative capacity of cells approaching the Hayflick limit.

Reconstitution
How much bacteriostatic water you add sets the concentration, and the concentration sets where a given amount lands on the barrel of an insulin syringe. Our Epithalon reconstitution calculator opens on a 50mg vial and includes a concentration chart for it.
